Therapy is an investment

in yourself

Investing in therapy isn't just about fixing problems; it's about unlocking your full potential and thriving, even amidst life's inevitable twists and turns.

build self-awareness, and set yourself up for long-term happiness and success.

Manage stress and build resilience against life's ups and downs.

Discover your strengths, break through roadblocks, and cultivate healthier relationships.

and I also know that therapy can be hard to access for women of color

Finding the right therapist can feel like searching for a needle in a haystack.

We therapists are all incredible (we wouldn't be here otherwise!), but each of us has our unique style, expertise, and approach to therapy. So when you find one with a specialty that speaks to you, explore it.

Understanding Matrescence was a game-changer in my own life, and opened my eyes to the profound transformation motherhood entails, not just the challenges, but also the hidden strengths and joys. Exploring Matrescence with clients has allowed me to witness incredible journeys of self-discovery and empowered motherhood. I can't predict your unique path, but I can promise a supportive space to explore it with genuine understanding and personalized guidance.

Under the law, health care providers need to give clients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.

You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service, or at any time during treatment.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, or how to dispute a bill, see your Estimate, or visit https://www.cms.gov/nosurprises.

Can I use out-of-network benefits?

I with Mentaya, a platform that helps clients get money back on out-of-network therapy sessions. If you have out-of-network benefits, Mentaya will file claims and handle the insurance paperwork to make sure you get reimbursed.

This way I do not have to print superbills for you. Mentaya takes care of that on our behalf.

Note: Mentaya's goal is to save you time and money. It's completely optional, and as your therapist I do not benefit in any way from your participation.

To save yourself some time, you can use the benefits checker below to see if your insurance provides OON benefits.
