You know it, but you can't quite name or fully explain it
Maybe you’ve wondered if it’s postpartum depression or anxiety.
Maybe a friend has even suggested that.
But you're not sure how to name what you are feeling, let alone explain it to someone else, and all you know is "postpartum".
You might be feeling more weepy than you expected, not sleeping as well, not sure if you're eating enough or taking care of yourself as well as you should, and feeling disconnected from your body... in other words, you don't feel like yourself.
And underneath it all is this quiet thought: “Will I ever be myself again?” All you want is to be able to show up for your baby with full capacity, and feel like yourself again.
Pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and breastfeeding change your body in ways most people don’t fully talk about, and you don't have to figure it all out by yourself.
So, what is actually happening?
Because what you're feeling isn't random. Your body has been through a full-body event, and it needs real recovery. It impacts your brain, energy, hormones, nervous system, and overall health.
Your brain literally rewires itself. Your hormones drop dramatically. Your nervous system recalibrates. Your nutritional stores are depleted. Things that used to come naturally — focus, patience, energy, emotional steadiness — require so much more now, because your body is working from a depleted baseline.
And instead of being supported in recovery, and restoring your health, most women are expected to push through, cope, and get back to normal. So when something feels off, it’s easy to assume something is wrong with you.
But often, your body is simply under-supported and still recovering. Yes, even years later... up to 10 years later.
This is where working with me is different.
Instead of trying to manage symptoms or push through, we focus on helping your body actually recover—so your energy returns, your health stabilizes, and you start to feel like yourself again.
How does this sound?
restore your energy and health after pregnancy, birth, and postpartum instead of just pushing through all the changes
support your nervous system so you’re not constantly on edge, overwhelmed, or shutting down
understand that survival mode in early motherhood is natural and necessary, and get the support to move through it, so it doesn't become the way you live years into motherhood
rebuild a foundation of wellbeing that actually lasts beyond early postpartum period, and for many years to come
understand what’s happening in your brain, body, and life so you can stop wondering what’s wrong with you
you deserve to feel well in postpartum
Not at all. While postpartum begins in early motherhood, many women move through this transition for years without support or education for what’s happening. I work with women who are months into postpartum—and women who are several years in—who are still trying to make sense of how much has changed. It’s never “too late” to understand postpartum recovery.

Most therapy focuses on thoughts, emotions, and coping strategies. My approach is a blended one, so I mix not only different types of therapy theories but practices from different disciplines too.
So, our work together takes a more integrative, full-body approach—looking at how pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and breastfeeding have impacted your overall health, energy, and nervous system.
Because for many women, talk therapy alone isn’t enough for true recovery.
The first step is booking a consultation call. We’ll talk through what’s been coming up for you, what kind of support you’re looking for, and whether therapy or coaching makes the most sense. You don’t need to have it all figured out before reaching out; that's what I am here for.
